Well I think it depends of the person and what they're going on the road for. I mean if you felt the need or had a calling in a sense of going out on the road then I think it takes a lot of hope, trust, and just pure faith to know that your going to be ok.
I think that life after school is equally as terrifying, dealing with jobs and bills and being responsible for everything. Life on the road is actually, in my opinion, the coward's way out.
