To: Mr. Kerouac, Love: Willie Nelson.

One, two
One, two, three, four

On the road again
Just can't wait to get on the road again
The life I love is making music with my friends
And I can't wait to get on the road again

On the road again
Goin' places that I've never been
Seein' things that I may never see again
And I can't wait to get on the road again

On the road again
Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway
We're the best of friends
Insisting that the world keep turning our way and our way

Is on the road again
I just can't wait to get on the road again
The life I love is making music with my friends
And I can't wait to get on the road again

On the road again
Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway
We're the best of friends
Insisting that the world keep turning our way and our way

Is on the road again
Just can't wait to get on the road again
The life I love is making music with my friends
And I can't wait to get on the road again
And I can't wait to get on the road again

I did not just post this because it's called "On the Road" but because it has the essence of the story in every lyric.

I was listening to this song when I first started reading On The Road! The lyrics expresses Jack very well. Especially the part about his friends and musics. It reminds me of Jack partying with Neal and the girls.
I wonder if most of the people that goes on the road feel this way...
