How do you define love? I believe jack is in love with Bea I don't think he would marry her but he does love her. Yes it is a "hook up" on the road and he probably will never talk to her again but that doesn't mean he has commitment issues thats just the way he lived. Also he had to leave at some point, she was married. I think that love is a very strange thing and can't be defined only as marriage or a relationship.
